A reverse vending machine only works when it has a properly functioning bag. A bag that is too thin will tear under the weight of glass and crushed cans. A bag of the wrong size will block collection or slip off the holder. A bag that was missing from the delivery stops the entire return station — and a queue forms at the machine.
For the shop, the chain, and the machine operator, this is not a matter of packaging. It is a matter of the operational continuity of the device on which deposit handling relies.
That is why a bag for a reverse vending machine must be selected like a consumable part: for a specific machine, for real usage levels, and with a guarantee that it will arrive on time.

Big Pak holds the GRS v4.0 (Global Recycled Standard, Control Union) certificate. Bags with a 30% share of post-consumer rPP are manufactured to order, within a documented supply chain - with documentation for ESG reporting and compliance on the EU market.

GRS documentation is issued per production batch, after an order has been placed. Certification is an additionally paid service; production within the GRS chain is also possible without the issuance of a certificate.

What is a 1/2 EUR bag?

“1/2 EUR” refers to the bag’s pallet format – half a Euro pallet (600 × 800 mm). A 1/2 EUR bag holds approximately 600 litres. Material collected by the machine goes straight into the bag in the back room, and the full bag is collected as a ready-to-ship pallet unit – no transferring needed. We make it from transparent polyethylene film, so the fill level and contents are visible at a glance.
